THIS PAINTING WAS INSPIRED BY THE ORIGINAL two prostitutes [link] by :iconcellar-fcp: go check that out

This is an acrylic painting I did that was quite big. It's horrible how I can never remember the exact sizes of my paintings anymore, but it's about a meter tall. Anyways reference pictures were used to get the correct body form which I'm not too proud of. But this was more of a practice painting anyways, just to improve my use of colors and realism.

This is another painting I started in the summer but finished about 2 months ago. Took me along time to get the right colors and proper body proportions. I might be posting up the making of this painting soon, so stay tuned

I really hope you guys like this

I love this different twist on the original. :)
You almost expect it to be symmetrical, but the little details here and there make you take a longer look.

Great job!

And.. If they are two, so I would paint one young and one old prostitute... Or maybe one pretty and one ugly girl...
But I am I, not you. :)
Greetings!

just from your technique i must say you did a great job!
I instantly had to think of your inspiration as i read the title, but compared to it i wouldn't recognize them as connected if you know what i mean.
This is just an independent work.

okay thank you! i agree though a lot of my paintings feel pretty flat and not too well composed

exactly. :/
Try to find pictures that have a special perspective you like, have a look at it for a little while and then try to repaint it without looking on the photo again. ;)
Inspiration and exercise in one.
